MDM Rubicon, Inc. is a provider of community residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses. We operate 18 group homes in the Oakdale/Woodbury area, and are seeking to add additional members to our team!

As a Direct Support Professional, or "DSP", at MDM Rubicon Inc., you will play an Essential role in these individuals' lives, and making differences within them. This assistance may include with:

  • Daily domestic activities (such as administering medication, grocery shopping, meal planning, laundry, and other housework),
  • Transport activities (such as to and from medical appointments), and
  • Growth-oriented activities (such as helping clients to build effective skills for problem-solving, communication, and independence).

DSPs are essential for supporting people with disabilities as they live and work in the community. DSPs are needed to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and other developmental disabilities. It is not only a choice but also a basic civil right that individuals with disabilities have adequate and appropriate supports and services needed for them to live in the community.

**Float Staff are required to have a flexible schedule and must be available to work any shifts including days, evenings, weekends. No set schedule.

Float Staff are scheduled to work open shifts in multiple homes. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone with experience working in residential group homes and has a flexible schedule. Must be able to travel to different locations within the float pool area.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Safe, reliable, and insured vehicle for work use during each shift
  • Background clearance as required by the DHS and BCA
  • Must have Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude
